Ingredients:
2 duck breasts, skin on 2 Tbsp olive oil 2 Tbsp water 2 Tbsp PureSpice ® POMEGRANATE MOLASSES pinch PureSpice ® ground cinnamon PureSpice ® Italian Sea Salt PureSpice ® Fresh Pepper
1.Preheat oven to 425. Scored the skin of the duck breasts in a X pattern. Salt well and let sit for 15 minutes. 2.Place a large frying pan over med heat and add oil. Place the breasts skin side down and seal for a minute, or until lightly browned. Turn over to seal the other side. Transfer to an ovenproof dish and roast in oven for 15 minutes. 3.Remove and let breasts rest on a board, covered with foil, for 5-10 minutes. 4.Pour off any excess oil from the frying pan, put on a hob over medium heat. Add the water, molasses, and cinnamon. Reduce for a minute and season with salt and pepper. 5.Slice each breast into 3 or 4 pieces at an angle, pour sauce over pieces and serve with vegetables.
