Ingredients: 6 eggs 7 ½ cups water 1 ½ cups dry nonfat milk ½ cup PureSpice ® mustard flour ½ sugar granulated 1 2/3 Tbsp PureSpice ® salt 2 2/3 Tbsp. Baking powder 5 ½ cups cornmeal 3 qt. Sifted wheat flour 100 stirring sticks 10 lb frankfurters ¾ cup shortening, melted
1.Insert one stirring stick lengthwise into each thawed frankfurter. Dry surface of each frankfurter with paper towel. 2.Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, sugar, mustard flour and milk. 3.Add water, eggs, and shortening to dry ingredients. Blend well. 4.Dip frankfurters in cornmeal butter; allow excess batter to drain slightly. Fry 2-4 minutes or until golden brown.
5.Drain on absorbent paper. 6.Serve hot.
