CHAAMP MASALA (LAMB CHOPS MASALA)

Ingredients:
3 in. piece fresh ginger 1 clove garlic 6-8 lamb chops from the ribs 1 tomato 2 med sized onions, chopped finely 1 Tbsp Cayenne 12 oz yogurt 1 ½ tsp salt 1 tsp cumin seeds 1-2 Tbsp Garam Masala 3 Tbsp lemon juice 1 Tbsp coriander seed 1 Tbsp Black Cardamom
1.Put the ginger and garlic into a blender with 3 Tbsp of water and blend into paste. 2.Put the chops, tomato, onion, Cayenne, yogurt, salt and paste in a large wok. Stir while bringing to boil. Turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 50 minutes, or until chops are almost cooked. 3.Add cumin seeds and simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes or until meat is tender and sauce is thick. Add Garam Masala and lemon juice and stir. 4. Sprinkle fresh coriander over top and serve.
