ETHIOPIAN BERBERE STEW Traditional Ethiopian Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp PureSpice ® Berbere Spice 4 Tbsp Chicken Stock 2 Lb Lamb, Diced 1 Tbsp PureSpice ® Ground Ginger 3 Garlic Cloves, Smashed 4 Tbsp Olive Oil 1 Large Red Onion, Chopped 1 Red Pepper, Chopped 1 Tomato, Chopped
PureSpice ® Celtic Sea Salt
1.Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat. Add lamb and stir fry until brown. Set lamb aside 2.Stir fry onion and garlic in same pan until light golden brown. 3.Add red pepper, chicken stock, Berbere and Giner and cook for an additional 10 minutes until sauce begins to thicken. 4.Reduce heat, add lamb into mix, and simmer covered, for an additional 30 minutes, or until lamb is tender. 5.Stir in tomato and Sea salt to taste.
